Andy Gold is a stand-up comedian. He rules. His jokes are totally sweet and way rad. A lot of times, after his shows, people say “Man that dude’s jokes were totally sweet and way rad.” He got his start in Utah and quickly became a club regular at 3 different clubs. All of which are owned by the same dude and all called Wiseguys. This afforded Andy the opportunity to work with some of the biggest names in the business and promptly ruin their shows. It was dope. After just a few months, Andy began featuring on the road at various cow towns throughout the mountain west. In less than 2 years, he began headlining at prestigious venues like active seniors communities and bowling allies.
Andy also continued to do a lot of comedy at home and word spread quickly of his sweet jokes. He was soon featured in various news programs, papers, local TV shows, radio shows and virtually every other media outlet in the mecca of entertainment that is Salt Lake.
After a while, Andy grew tired of being a well-liked and supported local comedian and moved to New York where he currently performs stand-up comedy and lives in a studio apartment in Brooklyn that smells like a gas station mop.
