She then went onto spend three years in Yorkshire training in acting at Bretton Hall, the Alma Mater of the League of Gentlemen, Kay Mellor and Mark Thomas amongst others. Miranda was part of the final ever intake for ‘acting’ at the college and studied a varied course, playing roles such as: Lou in ‘Erpingham Camp’ and one of the terrorists in ‘Terrorism’ as well as being involved in site-specific performances within the grounds of the Yorkshire Sculpture Park.

Having decided her student debt was not quite high enough, she went onto train in Musical Theatre at Guildford School of Acting, graduating in August 2009. During her time there she played roles such as ‘Zoe’ in Charles Miller’s ‘When Midnight Strikes’ and ‘Maisie’ in ‘The Boy Friend’ as well as appearing in the ensemble of ‘Anything Goes’ at The Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, Guildford.

Since graduating, Miranda has performed at The Landor Theatre as several comic characters in a spoof of ‘Macbeth’, as well as Mary in a disco version of ‘The Nativity’.

Miranda completed Logan Murray & Amused Moose’s ‘Stand Up and Deliver’ course in May 2012.
