Kris Dyer and Dave Marks created & wrote three series of BBC Radio 2 sitcom On the Blog starring Caroline Quentin, Simon Greenall and Andy Taylor and directed by Dirk Maggs: ‘A very funny sitcom’ (Sunday Times), ‘That rare thing – a funny new radio sitcom’ (Guardian). ‘A laugh-out-loud delight’ (Radio Times).
They’ve written for Richard Herring (That Was Then, This Is Now – BBC Radio 2) and Parsons & Naylor (Pull Out Sections – BBC Radio 2) and corporate campaigns for Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Unilever (Evidently Ltd).
They performed as the double-act Nice Mum for eight years on the London and Edinburgh comedy circuits including three stints at the Fringe (Pleasance, Underbelly, Gilded Balloon): ‘Genuinely funny’ (Scotsman), ‘Surreally brilliant’ (List), ‘One of the funniest acts of the Fringe’ (Stage).
They hosted their own comedy night Nice Mum Etc for three years at the Etc Theatre in Camden Town: ‘Very random but very, very funny‘ (Fringe Report), ‘It shouldn’t work, but it does’ (Evening Standard).
They are represented by Kate Haldane at PBJ Management.
