Phil is most infamous for his award winning comedy show Stella Street with John Sessions, which ran for 4 series on the BBC and spawned a feature length film, which has just been re-released on DVD.Phil has recently recorded the next series of his BBC Radio 4 show The Cornwell Estate, voicing many different comedy characters.

In 2010 Phil returned to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with Phil Cornwell is Switzerland McNaughtiehorse – his first full length solo show in twenty years and received great acclaim for the show which featured some of his most-loved impressions.

He starred in BBC’s Dead Ringers- his seventh series with the show and other TV appearances include hosting the BBC’s National Lottery Friday Night Draw Live , FIVE’s The Wright Stuff, BBC’s Weakest Link Special the Sunday magazine show Something for the Weekend and Dr Who. He has also presented a FA Cup Final nostalgia series for BT Vision.

He is a regular contributor on TalkSport Radio and The Day The Music Died on R2 and was also a regular on the Fanbanta football website and accompanying C4 TV show. Most recently he was a guest on ESPN’s Talk of the Terrace live studio show.He also hosts The Phil Cornwell Spurs Show- a weekly podcast that is consistently the most downloaded football club podcast on iTunes.

He probably first came to prominence as a regular on The Steve Wright Show and the kids TV show Get Fresh where he voiced the puppet Gilbert the Alien. This led to his own show Gilbert’s Fridge.

Other regular appearances include The Comic Strip Presents and a host of TV and radio comedy shows.

Phil is a much sought after voice over artist as well as being in much demand on the corporate and after dinner circuit.
